The Election is March 3, 2009

I want to ensure the City of Signal Hill you live in today, is the City you want to live in tomorrow.

The City of Signal Hill is faced with challenges as the country and state deal with the uncertain economy that is affecting the world around us. I applaud the work our City Staff has done, and is continuing to do, in delivering their services. Just as the world around us evolves, so must the City in order to keep up with the rapid changes. I feel I am more than qualified to lead the City through this dynamic time. My experience in municipal government, including budgeting, project management and administration, has more than prepared me for the changes on the horizon for Signal Hill.

I plan on improving the current quality of life through additional community services for seniors, youth and families by seeking grants and new revenue sources and increasing public safety. I want to preserve the City's diverse history. I plan on maintaining responsible development and smart growth through planned commercial and residential development, and will improve the City's "green space" with additional parks. I will push to increase communication between the City and residents by improving the City's website and establishing a transparency policy for increased community awareness of City decisions.
